Miss me?
It's been awhile since I've posted... not that anyone was complaining. : ) We have all been busy the last few weeks haven't we? Thanksgiving and Christmas are wonderful times of year, but those holidays do come with much hustle and bustle. Overall I have very much enjoyed our first Christmas together as husband and wife... we enjoyed a quiet Christmas morning together and then a funfilled Christmas day with Jeff's family. It was a lot of fun, a lot of laughter, a lot of paper ripping and hugging all around. Thank you all for a wonderful day! There was a bit of saddness in not seeing my own family. This was the first time in 31 years that I haven't spent Christmas day with either my Mom and Normie or my Dad. I missed you all! I am looking forward to having Mom and Norm as guests in our new home over the New Year Holiday. Can't wait to see you all in 2008!

One Year Ago Today...
My life changed. I felt joy to an extent I had never felt it before... I felt love greater than any other time in my life. I had found the man of my dreams, or rather God had brought him to me, and now here he was, down on his knee telling me how much he loved me, that he believed God intended for us to be together, and would I marry him? I can never express how blessed I felt in that moment. Words will never describe that happiness that filled my heart. Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you, Dear Lord, for bringing us together, for answering my prayers and for blessing me with Jeff. Thank you Jeff for chosing me. I am honored to be your wife today and always. (This picture is on our wedding day, but we are sitting on the bench where he proposed. I will always love that bench! ; )

Whirl Wind Weekend
Wow! We had a busy busy busy weekend... but it was awesome! We got almost all of our Christmas shopping done! Do you know how awesome that is? From the woman who always, always, always waits until at least the week before Christmas to do my frantic shopping and stressing about the perfect gift... this is monumental. And, even better, I think I'll do a wee bit of wrapping this evening. After I do my laundry. Getting the Christmas shopping done came at the price of ignoring all my other housekeeping. It was fun though... I have learned that I really like doing all of those things (like shopping, running errands, and getting groceries) with Jeff. He makes them much more fun. And we can usually get through and entire day of driving frantically between all the places we need to be without getting under each others skin. Usually. I think I might annoy him from time to time with my bossiness. (Yes, bossiness is a word, courtesy of my Aunt Kim.) But what is a wife if she isn't bossy from time to time? Ha!
We also finally got some pictures hung. You must know decorating is not my forte, but it looks pretty good if I do say so myself. Thanks Jeff for doing the manual labor, Thanks Jen for helping me figure out what to put where! I'll post some pictures later. Love you all! : )

Okay, Okay
So I admit that I opened myself up to certain questions with that first post. I beg you to believe that it really was innocent... I didn't mean to imply that anything of any significance would be posted any time soon. Really, I didn't. Okay, maybe a little. I just love to tease everyone... I've learned that from my husband. Ha! So, since I'm just having so much fun with this whole blog thing, and clearly everyone is craving something... well.... baby... here's another of my favorite pictures. It only has two of my three favorite nieces... but oh my! Aren't they cute? (Thanks Jen, for the use of your kids! ; )

My wonderful husband
My First Post
So I thought I'd delve into this word of blogging... mostly because sometimes I just have something to say and I don't want to bother anyone by making them listen to my drivel. Right now, lucky for you, doesn't happen to be one of those times. Meaning, I don't have really anything to say, but I wanted to get a blog started, because sometime, probably soon, I will. I hope you enjoy and from time to time check back to see what's happening in our world. Maybe, just maybe, I might have some important news to share. ; )
