A few more photos of my daughter... just because I can. What can I say? I think she's the cutest girl in the world! ; )

First Day of School

I know this is just the first of a long line of "firsts"... but McKinley went to her first Sunday school class yesterday! As you can see in the picture, she was riveted from the moment I set her down. "Mom? Who's that?" ; ) The teachers give them toys, and sing songs, two of McKinley's favorite things. She didn't even bat an eye when I took my pager and walked out of the room. For that matter, she didn't even bat an eye when I came to get her either. She was still interested in the songs and the rubber star she was chewing on. I'm positive it was harder for Mommy than it was for McKinley! I think I'm going to have an independent girl on my hands!

McKinley is 8 months

Not a lot has changed in the last month. And that's just fine with me... I'm happy for McKinley to stay in this stage awhile! She's just so fun! She is full of smiles and giggles. She really has no interest in crawling yet, and that is also fine by me. I am enjoying this time, because I know once she is mobile it's going to be chaos! ; ) McKinley has three teeth now, and a fourth really close to poking through. She loves to eat and her favorites are vegetables! The only thing she turned her nose up to was peaches, and even that was only the first time. Hope she continues to be a good eater!
